It has been three years since you were our videographer for our wedding day, but I was thinking about what a treasure your video is to me and my extended family. In the past two years my family has had some tragedy. A year after I was married my cousin, who stood up in my wedding, passed away in a car accident. Then, this year my mother and best friend, passed away unexpectedly. Words cannot express what your wedding video means to me and my family. It is the only recent video I have of my mother and my cousin. I'm just so thankful they were both there to share in that day. It is heartwarming to watch it and see them both so happy, and to hear my mother's voice...that alone is worth more than the world to me. It is priceless. It was truly one of the best days of my life and I am honored that you were there to capture every moment. My mother-in-law watches her video several times a month, because she adores it that much! That is a testament to your style and talent. I feel it was one of the best investments I made for our wedding day. Thanks for sharing your talents with so many and I wanted to let you know how much that video means to me. Thanks again for your talent.
Although it may sound odd, letters like this are one of the reasons I do what I do. It's about more than a paycheck. It's about more than some flashy new camera or cool video effect. It's about what matters most... touching people's lives. Pure and simple. I am so blessed to have a career that allows me to do that. For those on the fence about making the investment to have a really well done wedding film, I think I know what Julie would tell you.
