Katie + Derik were married at historic Greenfield Village on what could only be described as, one amazing day for a wedding! The sun was shining, love was in the air, and Katie was smiles from beginning to end (check out her "I Do" shoes...). Katie + Derik make such a cute couple and it was our pleasure to be there to capture it all for them. We first caught up with K+D at a local hotel where we captured their preps before heading over to Lovett Hall for their "first look". It was then a short carriage ride through Greenfield Village for their photo/cinema session before heading back to Lovett Hall where their ceremony (officiated by Derik's uncle...) took place in the Ginger Meyer Garden. Then, it was upstairs to the Ballroom for the celebration. It was great to work with Joe Fisher from JS Photography, Ron Johnson from Night & Day Productions, and Trifles Bakery, who created a very cool wedding cake made of cupcakes (there's a quick shot of it in the trailer...). Here's the trailer from their upcoming wedding film... enjoy!
