Kayla + Bill were married in a beautiful, outdoor ceremony at Wabeek Country Club in Bloomfield Hills.  Although, I had been to Wabeek before, this was the first time we actually filmed a wedding ceremony there and it proved to be a very scenic location for a wedding.  Our day started at the Radisson Kingsley Hotel on Woodward, where we met up with Kayla + Bill for their preparations before heading off to Wabeek for their "first look".  I really like filming first looks as it's one of those rare moments on a wedding day where the bride + groom actually have a few moments alone to themselves (if you don't count a few photo and cinema peeps...).  The first look gives them a chance to shake off the nerves a bit and just enjoy a moment together before the rush of the day really kicks in.  There were a few other firsts on this wedding day... we finally got to work with event planner Melissa Osborne of Melissa Marie Events!  We have known Melissa for a few years now but, for whatever reason, never had the opportunity to work together until now (can't wait to do it again!).  We also had the pleasure of working with photographer Amanda Gerling and the team from Elysium Wedding Entertainment for the first time.  Congrats Kayla + Bill!
