The Knot.com recently ran an article posing the question "Is Wedding Videography A Must or a Maybe?". Well, if you ask us, the answer to that question is a resounding absolutely!!! Yes, we may be somewhat biased but, even if we didn't create wedding films for a living, we'd like to think we'd still feel the same way. While some couples place photography and videography in the same category, they're really quite different. One of the biggest differences is that video captures sound + motion like no other media can. Your vows. The toasts. The laughter, tears, and sounds of family and friends' voices. Your first dance. We're not knocking photography. On the contrary. We whole-heartedly believe that every wedding should include photography. Just as we believe every wedding should include videography. Technology and wedding filmmaking have come a long way since the days of cheesy wedding videos. Today's videos are more like short films than "wedding videos". Your wedding day goes by so fast. A wedding film is the perfect way to capture and re-live all the sights and sounds of your day!
I just wanted to drop a quick note and share something special with you. Our son is 15 months old now and I thought I would show him a clip from our wedding video as our 5 year anniversary is tomorrow. He sat right in front of the TV and could not stop staring at his mama and dada and thought it was the coolest thing ever! Thank you again for making such a special gift that we can now share with our son"
Is that not a great reason to have a wedding video or what...?
Yeah, that totally made my day!
Wedding videography... we at Lee Thomas Films think it's a must! But, don't just take our word for it, listen to what these brides had to say about wedding videography!
